As I’ve mentioned a few times before, attempting to follow, much less, sort out the machinations of the unscrupulous old “pretender to the throne” is an endeavor wrought with peril. Old pap and I feel our time can be better spent in attempting to suggest potential solutions to our national state of blue funk cultural malaise.
To that end, over the next several weeks and months, we’ll be talking about our list of proposals for a platform for a new government which we are hopeful will be in place after the November elections. Unfortunately, our only hope at the moment is those hapless Demoblicans, who we will be encouraging to get serious, and not waste this opportunity to save our troubled old country. It seems clear that the current cast of characters in charge have no intention of doing anything which might be helpful to our poor old USofA.
In our last blog, “One Dangerous Dude,” we attempted to describe the extent of damage that can be done by an efficient, and really “good” con artist. Since January 20 of 2017, the only partially positive action taken by our “alleged” president is the passage of the “big, beautiful” tax cuts. Well, while they do provide some benefits to us “average” Amuricans, they are only big and beautiful for very wealthy persons and our “struggling” big corporations. These over-sized business ventures are flush in cash and many are already paying little or no Federal income taxes due to cheating with their paid-for-through-political-donations “loopholes.” The time for positive change is way past-due!
Whoa, it appears as though the old Moron at 1600 PA Ave. got through a whole week watching Fox educational tv without firing any of his swamp bunnies, and even said Scotty was “doing a fantastic job!” Does that remind you of “Brownie, you’re doing a heckuva job?” Of course, he was sending the National Guard to intercept those drug dealers, murders, and rapists in the “caravans” moving through Mexico, also! Oh, yes, the old First Fool declared April “National Sexual Assault Awareness Month?” Can you believe the unmitigated gall of this rascal?
Gosh, I meant to mention the passing of Stephen Hawking a couple weeks ago. His quote which is our fav: “We are just an advanced breed of monkeys on a minor planet of a very average star. But we can understand the Universe. That makes us something very special.” When one considers The Trump gang and a few other “sweethearts,” it becomes clear that some are not all that “advanced!”
